What Is Creator Studio And Should Content Creators Be Using It?

October 2023 Update: Creator Studio tools have moved. You still have access to many of the same features to create, manage and monetize your content on Facebook through Professional dashboard, and you can access all of your content across Facebook and Instagram on Meta Business Suite.

Content creators can now take advantage of all the features Facebook has to offer without having a dozen different tools. Creator Studio is designed for managing your social media content, tracking performance, and connecting meaningfully with audiences on both Instagram as well as Facebook!

However, many marketers might not even know that Creator Studio is available to them. They may still be using third-party tools like Hootsuite or Later for managing and tracking content across multiple social media channels but if all you care about is Instagram and Facebook then things get a little simpler with this built-in native tool from Facebook itself. Plus, it gives users a lot of additional features, such as deeper video insights.

There are five different roles, which allows you to give various levels of access to your Creator Studio. Not every role has access to all of Creator Studio’s features. The chart below shows the various roles available and what level of permissions they get based on their role.

Schedule Content Posts in Facebook Creator Studio

The number one thing most people use Creator Studio for is scheduling Facebook posts. You can also schedule Instagram posts from the desktop version of Creator Studio. You can choose to schedule your post, save it as a draft, or publish it right away.

Scheduling content ahead of time saves you time and helps you to post more consistently. We highly recommend planning out your content ahead of time for these reasons.

Manage Your Messages and Comments In The Creator Studio Inbox

The Creator Studio Inbox is very similar to your regular Facebook page inbox; the only real difference is the layout. Your inbox contains your Facebook messages, DMs from Instagram, comments on your Facebook posts, and comments on your Instagram posts. And you can respond to them right from there! This makes engaging with your audience so much easier.
